Privileged access management vendor Keeper Security is undertaking a push into the Australian market with an updated partner programme at its back.
The company sells privileged access management, password management, secrets management, remote connections, remote browser isolation and a range of other access management and security products.
Global communications director Anne Cutler said Australia was a key market in the Chicago-based company’s push into the wider Asia Pacific (APAC) region following success in other regions of the globe.
“We have great traction in the US," she said.
"We expanded out into EMEA and then opened a sales office in Ireland and have really pushed into the channel there, and that's been incredibly lucrative for us.”
In April 2025, the company surpassed 4 million paid users worldwide, with a 77% compound annual growth rate in revenue over the prior five years.
Cutler said the company had some business in Asia and Australia, but realised that there was an “incredibly huge” opportunity.
“And so it was like, why are we not doing this?” she said.
Keeper also has a strong focus on managed service providers with a long-standard product in the market called Keeper MSP.
Global operations, channel operations and distribution manager Brian McGlynn said that MSP partners had been so successful for the vendor that the MSP product was specifically designed for that channel.
“Some of our largest customers are our MSPs," he told techpartner.news.
"We have put a lot of effort into some of the APIs that are available for our MSPs to handle the billing right to their customers. The integration that we do with MSPs– once they get on board, they stay on board, and it creates a sticky environment for them to manage the customer business.”
The success with the channel also spurred the company to improve its partner programme, which it undertook in March.
The updated 2025 Keeper Partner Programme features four tiers: Authorised, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
Any partners in Silver tier or above will get access to market development funds, while all levels can access training and certifications for sales, demonstration and implementation.
Global channel sales director Scott Unger outlined how the company started selling consumer-focused technology, which grew to reach small businesses, then mid-market, and is now selling into enterprises.
“I am seeing enterprise deal registrations with organisations of over $750 million in sales," he said.
"If you combine this with the PAM licensing being 10 times the price of an EPM license, and then the professional services attachment, the partners are definitely seeing bigger deal opportunities, both in size services as well as with the PAM attachment.”
Keeper Security’s products are available via Pax8’s marketplace.
