Integ acquires Lanlink

Australian-owned voice and data integrator Integ Communication Solutions has acquired Lanlink, a Queensland company specialising in data networking.

Integ CEO Ian Poole said in a statement that the acquisition allows Integ to expand its offerings in the Queensland market and enhance its data and networking capabilities across Australia.

“The solutions that the two companies offer are highly complementary. Integ is strong in voice, contact centre and IP telephony solutions, while Lanlink has particular strengths in data networking applications and support,” he said.

“Although we have supported companies in Queensland for some years now, combining with Lanlink will bolster's Integ's Queensland presence and allows us to offer more to that market -- we will now have an extensive portfolio of products and services,” he added in a statement.

The acquisition would also add weight to its government business, Poole said.

Initially, Lanlink would continue to operate under its own brand name, but would eventually be rebranded under the Integ banner. Integ's Brisbane operation would relocate to Lanlink's premises in Coorparoo and all senior management of Lanlink will remain with the company.

Integ sells products from the likes of Pivotal, Alcatel and Genesys while Lanlink's main product offerings include Alcatel, Cisco, 3Com and Radware.
