Sydney-based software developer Nexa Group has landed a $2 million contract with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) to implement a queue management system.
Nexa is supplying, installing and maintaining the integrated queue management system, which provides appointment and counter management capability for the department, according to a spokesperson.
The contract includes software licences and professional services.
Nexa was selected because it offered the best value and for meeting the DIBP's requirements of a queue management system.
Nexa has been operating from its Bondi Junction location for 10 years, serving target markets that include government, education and healthcare. Nexa also provided services overseas to the NYC Department of Transport and to Spain-headquarted telco Telefonica.
