Sydney services conglomerate FTS Group has acquired Melbourne-based TechnologyOne and Dell Boomi partner Galaxy 42.
FTS said the acquisition will help build out its market footprint in the local government sector, education and asset intensive industries across Australia and New Zealand. The company also expects Galaxy 42’s Boomi specialisation will boost the capabilities of another FTS subsidiary and Boomi partner Anatas.
“I am excited to have Galaxy 42 join the FTS Group, further strengthening our commitment to local government, asset intensive industries and education sectors,” FTS Group chief executive Stephen Kowal said.
“Galaxy 42 builds on our application and integration capability and propels our market leading position in Dell Boomi and Web Methods.”
As part of the deal, FTS will get Galaxy 42’s thirty TechnologyOne consultants, as well as a customer base that includes Zenitas Healthcare and the local councils of City of Gosnells in Western Australia, City of Kingston in Victoria, Sydney’s Inner West Council and Port of Newcastle.
FTS Group is a federated group of IT service businesses, each specialising in their own area of expertise. The companies include Microsoft partner Veritec, Cubic Consulting, FTS Data & AI, FTS Resourcing, Kobold, SME Gateway and Anatas.
