Its Virtual Accelerator won Best of Interop, Las Vegas 2009 and the MACC features technology from recently acquired Adelaide-based company NetPriva.
"We have huge interest from the channel at the moment to do with the Virtual Accelerator," said Steve O'Brien VP APAC Expand Networks.
The company provides "Virtual Proximity" solutions over the Wide Area Network (WAN).
O'Brien said it has been predominantly driven by VMware in Australia is looking to recruit partners that have an interest and technology skills in Virtualisation.
"This is of significant interest to the channel because it addresses a problem that's been around for a while, getting applications to run better across the network , focusing on the user in the branch office," he said.
O'Brien added the MACC transforms the economics of WAN Optimisation for smaller branch offices and mobile workers within large businesses.
He said the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is significantly reduced, and the requirement for a whole class of 'conventional' optimisation hardware for small branch offices is removed.
Expand Networks has a number of resellers covering Queensland, WA, NSW, with limited coverage in ACT, Victoria, SA.
"We are really interested in resellers that have those technical skills to provide us with the coverage to meet that demand in Australia," he said.
"Large enterprises with numerous small branches previously faced a choice of implementing either a mobile client or a physical appliance for WAN Optimisation," added Elie Barr, CEO Expand Networks.
"The MACC completely resolves this 'client or appliance' dilemma, by providing the benefit of both individual and shared cache in one solution while significantly lowering TCO."
Expand Networks has approximately 60 resellers in A/NZ and recently appointed RDA Group two months ago.
Customers include Grocon, development and construction group, Rams home loan group, owned by Westpac and EMCO Building in WA. It has 100 plus customers in A/NZ.
It also runs a two tier channel program; one for resellers with technical skills who have made investments in non refundable equipment and those who do not have the technical skills base.
It plans to host a number of Webinars on three key areas including satellite, voice and data and virtualisation.
