National solutions provider Empired is deploying up to 500 seats of Microsoft Dynamics CRM for the St Vincent de Paul Society in NSW, to go-live in September.
The new system will help the non-profit organisation with customer engagement and fundraising, said an Empired spokesperson, by ensuring that the rules used by the marketing team can be applied and that the marketing budget is spent effectively.
The CRM will help in the planning of events and provide a full picture of current and past interactions with donors.
Empired will also assist Vinnies with the upgrade of the existing infrastructure and a move to Office 365 cloud services.
Empired stated that it is currently in discussions with St Vincent de Paul for a managed services agreement to support the charity moving forward.
The relationship between the solutions provider and Vinnies extends to philanthropy. Last week, Empired managing director Russell Baskerville (pictured) participated in St Vincent de Paul's CEO Sleepout, raising more than $8,000 - while the solutions provider was one of the event's sponsors.
During the sleepout, the Dynamics CRM Social Engagement module was operational on Vinnies' machines to demonstrate how the system contributes to social media feeds.
Twenty-five Empired employees volunteered during the event across the country, helping assisting with the event setup, operating the merchandise stand, manning the registration desk, performing usher duties and also packing up after the event.
Empired, which listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2007, is number 13 in the current CRN Fast50 having recorded 92 percent growth in 2015 to reach $128 million of revenue.
