Backup and disaster recovery vendor Datto's new global partner program for managed service providers is coming to Australia.
Datto said that the new program, which went live on Thursday, was developed to further invest in the MSP community with more training, education and resources and accelerate partners' growth with actionable enablement programs.
It includes business planning, commercial and technical education sessions, enhanced training and on-boarding practices.
Partners will be benchmarked in four tiers based on monthly recurring revenue: business, professional, enterprise and blue. Revenue for each tier will be based on local currency for each partner.
Partners will be able to evaluate their business against research and benchmarks from Datto's top partners to identify opportunities for growth and training.
Datto has also introduced a marketing automation platform with pre-built promotional campaigns, co-branded and customisable collateral and social media content intended for non-marketing partners.
A new Not for Resale (NFR) program has been introduced that allows partners to perform live demonstrations of new products with discounted device programs.
Datto regional director ANZ James Bergl said: “Datto is one hundred per cent committed to the Australian channel and continues to make investments to empower partners to grow their business. Our new Global Partner Program has been designed to provide managed service providers with the tools they need to be successful, whether that be training, education or our new marketing automation platform.”
Datto's global director of partner marketing Sue MacGregor said the program allows the vendor to engage with partners on a deeper level and gives them the tools and resources needed to be successful.
“Our partners have grown at a tremendous pace and it’s a necessity that our enablement programs evolve in lockstep to further support their business growth and success,” she said.
