Data#3 has won a contract to deliver an integrated managed service for McGrath Estate Agents.
The company revealed that the deal would cover service desk, desktop support server management, backup and recovery management, and infrastructure applications support.
The service covers McGrath’s 93 offices across Australia’s east coast, supporting the company’s five business units: residential property sales, property management, mortgage broking, auction services and career training.
The rollout had Data#3 deploy IT infrastructure library-aligned processes and integrate ServiceNow. Further specifics as to the number of devices to be managed or other vendor partners were not provided.
“I was looking for a partner with strong ITIL skills, one that had the capability to manage high volumes, with good structure and good references,” McGrath ICT operations manager Brett Kelly said.
“They were very accommodating to our needs, which made the transition process very smooth. Data#3 has demonstrated precisely the process maturity I was looking for, and they have made my job a lot easier.”
The contract came after a previous arrangement with another provider lapsed, with Kelly seeking to fulfill a number of specific business requirements.
Data#3 said it approached the project in phases, allowing McGrath to migrate with flexibility and little disruption.
“A strategic managed service helps customers to focus on their core business and innovation, safe in the knowledge that assigned services or solutions are being confidently managed,” Data#3 managing director Laurence Baynham said.
“It’s fantastic to see Data#3 working as a trusted extension of McGrath’s team, and we look forward to continuing to do so.”
