Security vendor, Crossbeam Systems has launched a rebate program for distributor and reseller partners.
Under its Technology Refresh initiative, distributors would recieve a US$30 rebate for each entry-level C6 unified threat management platform that they sell while resellers would recieve US$70.
The end user would receive a US$700 rebate if the replace old Crossbeam equipment that has gone "out of service" and replace it with a the new Crossbeam platform.
Gavin Rae, technical director, Crossbeam said the rebate offer is a way for the company to keep up with the changing security market.
“We’ve seen a lot of our competitors do these types of programs and we wanted to keep with what’s happening,” he said. “We have also seen a shift towards people looking for ways of building a layer of security protection.”
The rebate starts in May 2006 and is scheduled to run for a year.
