Canberran data and cybersecurity firm Anchoram Consulting has entered the Canadian market, establishing offices in the capital Ottawa and Toronto, Ontario, as part of its international growth strategy.
The Canadian operations will officially launch on 1 May, focusing on cybersecurity, data management, and complex business transformation services.
Anchoram has appointed Chris Moore as President and chief executive of Anchoram Canada.
Moore brings extensive experience as former CIO at Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, the City of Edmonton, and the City of Brampton, along with background in banking, financial services, and energy sectors.
"Expanding into Canada marks an exciting new chapter and reflects the strength of our tailored and ethics-led approach to transformation," Glenn Ashe, chief executive and co-founder of Anchoram Consulting, said.
"Anchoram's commitment to purpose-driven consulting and sustainable outcomes is what sets it apart. I'm looking forward to building a team here that extends these values and continues to drive transformational change to an exciting new market."
The Canadian expansion marks Anchoram's second international market entry, following its 2022 launch in India where the firm has secured several high-profile clients including Zomato, Blinkit, Business Standard, and Bharat Hotels.
"When we considered our further expansion plans, Canada was an easy choice," Harry Cheema, Anchoram's co-founder and chief operating officer said
"Australia and Canada have enjoyed decades of reciprocal partnerships and are aligned culturally and on policy in many areas, including defence and security, trade, economic growth, migration, transportation, Indigenous, social, cultural, academic, and regional issues."
Founded in 2019, Anchoram said it has experienced consistent revenue growth over the past six years, delivering more than 70 projects across Australian federal, state and local governments, defence, and critical infrastructure sectors.
