ASX-listed BigAir Group has announced its revenue forecast to exceed $6.5m for the year ending 30 June 2006, a 100 percent increase on last year.
The Australian-owned wireless provider said the healthy outlook was due to subscriber numbers being up.
“We are now ahead of schedule on our prospectus target of 10,000 customers. As of March, there were more than 7,800 subscribers on the BigAir network, an increase from 3,945 subscribers reported in July 2005,” said Jason Ashton, CEO at BigAir.
The company’s ASX listing raised $7.5m for Big Air and the wireless provider is also planning to expand its corporate sales team and launching a wholesale strategy for its wireless local loop services in the coming year, said Ashton.
