A stellar year for Stellar Systems led to a 16% increase in revenue for the 2025 financial year, reaching $7 million and earning the 34th spot in the 2025 techpartner.news Fast50.

Stellar managing director Gordon Carr said the growth was spurred by the addition and expansion of new services outside the company’s core managed services.

“This includes items like IP Tel and internet services. For example, we have had 1,905% growth in internet services alone over 12 months,” he said.

“We have also had a strong push on modern workplace uplift for clients, which brings both project revenue as well as licensing upgrades. Ongoing alignment of our cyber security services have also increased revenue, ensuring clients have the right protection for their risk requirements.”

Managed services made up just under a third of the company’s total revenue, with software as a service (SaaS) licensing and PC and peripherals sales each accounting for around 20%.

Telco, cybersecurity, and productivity tools were among the other services the company found success with.

Key verticals for the company were construction, not-for-profit and manufacturing, and Carr said the plan for further growth is to expand that reach even further.

“We are looking to really grow (with) new logo business. This will be done by an ongoing investment in marketing and building strong relationships with vendors” he said.

“We are wanting to move away from primarily referral-based growth to building a strong lead engine and sales process. We want to ensure that growth is healthy and we still deliver next level service to our existing clients and maintain profitability.”

Clients run the gamut of size from small business to enterprise, but the majority of the company’s revenue for FY25 came from those 101 seats and above.

Carr said that as the company has grown, so too has the complexity of the operations and therefore the need for more automated systems.

“We want to ensure that all the growth we experience is healthy growth. Maintaining the service our clients are used to and ensuring we operate efficiently is really important to us,” he explained.

“That is why there has been a real push around things like automation and clever processes to make sure we are able to maintain that growth. While process improvements are something we have driven internally we have also leveraged vendors such as Pia to help with automation.”

Plans are to keep to Perth for the short term but, Carr said, that may change in the long term.

“I believe it will be inevitable that we will eventually have a presence on the east coast of Australia. We support multiple organisations that have a national presence and only see this growing,” he said.
