Chris Earnshaw-Nees

Sydney-headquartered solutions provider Artis Group has appointed former Fujitsu and Telstra veteran Chris Earnshaw-Nees as its new national delivery manager.

Artis Group announced that Earnshaw-Nees would lead its operations, project and services delivery capabilities in the role.

Earnshaw-Nees comes to Artis from his previous position as business services portfolio manager at NSW Department of Family & Community Services. Prior to that, he served six years at Fujitsu and three years at Telstra.

Like Artis' chief executive Chris Greatrex, the new national delivery manager is a graduate of the Australian Defence Force Academy.

"Chris' proven experience working in various technology roles in the banking and finance, health, relecommunications, government and defence industries, matched with a principal strength in delivering real business outcomes... are qualities that make him perfectly aligned the growth and delivery objectives of Artis Group," said Greatrex.

Greatrex the role came about through both organic and acquisitions growth, and has plans for more to come, saying that the company has a "dedicated acquisition war-chest" to look for "more acquisitions of Microsoft and SAP services businesses" this year.

In February, Artis Group expanded internationally through elevate61, a program designed to assist Australian companies break into the US market.

On the corporate social responsibility side, Greatrex has this week shown off his new look on social media after shaving his head for the World's Greatest Shave campaign in benefit of the Leukemia Foundation.
