The facility, in Wellington Street, Collingwood, provides the only inner city IT distribution centre in Melbourne, which has more space for warehousing, a business centre and pickup facility.
According to Paul Harman, CEO, Alloys, resellers can procure IT equipment and consumable supplies at short notice, providing an instant warehouse solution for those resellers.
The business centre includes colour printers, document scanning and home automation solutions as well as IP security demonstration facilities and there are plans to open more national business centres.
The business centre will be available to resellers for demonstration and seminars to local businesses with a host of guest speakers appearing during the year.
“We have made this investment in our new distribution and business centre to further enhance resellers capabilities and reach,” said Harman.
“Education and demonstration is a strong part of what we do as a non-traditional distributor.
“The new centre provides an unprecedented level of support and opportunity for our business partners,” Harman added.
To celebrate the new premises Alloys is holding a VIP grand opening on 17 February from 6pm.
There will be an official ribbon cutting ceremony, a tour of the new facility plus some entertainment and refreshments.
