Since the two companies started their partnership in June 2008, they have worked together to target customers through Acer's B2B portal, Acer Partner E-Commerce (APeC).

The agreement means Synnex will view all standard catalogues through APeC and its dealers will be able to configure and order Acer products from commercial and consumer catalogues.

"In an ever changing industry like ours and with the state of the current economic climate it is vital for our dealer to have a choice and more importantly credit to facilitate their Acer business." Said Greg Mikaelian, general manager of Channel Sales, Acer Computer Australia.

"In a relatively short time Synnex Australia has demonstrated that a large broad-based distributor can be flexible, responsive and in tune with their customers requirements.

"Now that Synnex Australia has full distribution of Acer products, I look forward to working more closely with them and building on our successful relationship," he added.
