Aastra appoints Australian master distie

Anixter has been appointed master distie of Aastra's range of PBX and telephony hardware products in Australia.

The distie's marketing manager Daniel Sultana said the agreement was a "good fit" for Anixter in terms of "synergies and go-to-market strategy".

"We've built a strong business in the region around specialist skills in structured cabling for power and data, with a focus on communications, security and switching systems," Sultana said.

"It therefore makes sense that we partner with the leaders in these fields.

"Aastra will complement our existing offering and will bring strong expertise and solutions in enterprise communications solutions with feature-rich call managers, unified communications applications and mobility solutions."
