In Pictures: CES 2012 (part 1)
CES is hands down the biggest consumer electronics show on the planet. The total exhibit space measures a mind-boggling 1.6 million net square feet, or roughly 35 American football fields. This year, over 2,700 exhibitors attended the show, including all the big players from every market (sans Apple). As you'd imagine, it takes attendees several days just to see everything: in short, it's like Disneyland for tech geeks.
In the following gallery, we highlight some of the hottest and most innovative products that crossed out path on the showroom floor. From Samsung's astonishingly gorgeous 70in Ultra High Definition 4kX2k TV, to the cream of the Ultrabook and smartphone crop, you'll find it all here. We've also tried to give you a taste of the showroom floor, and some of the interesting oddities lurking in far-off corners. Happy reading!
