Who are your main cloud vendor partners?
The technology market moves very quickly, as do the needs of our customers. As such, we partner with leading telecommunications providers such as Telstra and other industry leaders, such as Microsoft and Cisco. The key to our partnerships is focused on getting the network right.
When did your company first get involved in this area?
We have delivered mobility, cloud and analytics solutions for many years. However, the recent surge in this market has resulted in significant growth of our business. Our strategy has always focused on business enablement – as such, cloud and its associated benefits are important.
Which certifications and/or credentials do you have that apply to cloud?
We’re aligned with Telstra’s broad capability, across most, if not all, of their solution stack. This means gold tier certifications with leading vendors, aligned with enterprise architecture and ITIL frameworks in support of the end-to-end solution delivery we promise.
Have you heard of any cool or interesting recent developments in the cloud space?
As multi-cloud strategies are explored, and the app market grows – so does the maturity
of customers. This is resulting in significant innovation opportunities in traditionally static business models. We see businesses now adopting cloud as a means to facilitate innovation and alternate business models rather than to simply reduce costs.
Can you tell us about a recent cloud deployment you have done?
A recent project used multi-cloud technologies. As an existing Telstra customer, the client
was already connected to cloud mobility and collaboration solutions. We consolidated workloads and rationalised the business unit requirements. Staff can now securely work
from anywhere, with a consistent experience.
What is driving customers’ cloud projects?
We see many drivers, one being the ability to draw a direct relationship between business needs and the outcomes achieved. This becomes more evident as you move up the ‘as a service’ stack into platform-as-a-service and software-as-a-service offerings.
Cloud is...
Inherently scalable. With cloud, we consume the technologies we need, as we need them, creating an effective and efficient model for business growth.
