SAP SuccessFactors boosts employee experience for Atturra

ASX-listed IT solutions provide Atturra has successfully overhauled its employee experience through the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors, an AI-enabled suite of cloud HR applications.
The announcement, made at SAP Australia and New Zealand's flagship customer event SAP NOW ANZ, showcased significant improvements Atturra has seen in HR data accuracy, onboarding processes, and staff retention.
The company turned to SAP SuccessFactors to address challenges stemming from basic HR systems and a reliance on fragmented, manually tracked spreadsheets and documents.
As Atturra's team rapidly expanded, these outdated processes led to administrative bottlenecks, affecting employee engagement and hindering growth opportunities.
Working with Discovery Consulting, Atturra began implementing SAP SuccessFactors in October 2022, completing the rollout a year later.
The phased approach included core HR services such as Employee Central, Onboarding, Learning, Performance & Goals, and Recruiting.
The impact of the implementation has been substantial. Atturra reported a 78 per cent increase in the accuracy of employee and organisational HR data, a 49 per cent decrease in the average time managers spend on administrative HR-related tasks, and a 15 per cent reduction in staff turnover.
"As a company that prides itself on helping clients embrace the tools of the future, we saw how relying on better technology would support our growth and deliver a first-class experience to our people," said David Dekker, chief operating officer at Atturra.
"Implementing SAP SuccessFactors has streamlined our onboarding process, allowing new team members to settle in and start learning and contributing faster," Dekker said.
The success of the project was also attributed to Atturra's commitment to organisational change.
"The willingness to not only adopt new systems but also support organisational change to achieve benefits across the organisation and for their people is a testament to the team at Atturra," said Alistair Elloitt, managing partner at Discovery Consulting Group.
Moving forward, Atturra plans to continue refining its performance goals and development processes through SAP SuccessFactors.
The company aims to improve workflows and automations to increase authentic employee engagement, particularly in remote work teams, and utilise the platform's analytics tools to identify retention risks.
