Rapid growth in demand for AI solutions poses a major opportunity for Australian technology partners, but capitalising on this opportunity requires skills which are rare in the current market.

Dicker Data is helping Microsoft partners accelerate the development of their AI offerings through a partnership with the cloud services company UnifyCloud.

Its CloudAtlas AI Factory enables partners to browse through over 300 real-world Azure-based AI use cases to quickly develop proof-of-concepts that are suited to specific client needs, and then rapidly develop these into working solutions.

According to UnifyCloud’s vice president for worldwide sales Justin Cooper the AI Factory provides support for organisations that are starting or refining their AI journeys.

“The AI factory is designed as an accelerator and to eliminate risk, and most importantly, it's designed to save their hard-earned capital,” Cooper said. “The catalogue encompasses over 300 use cases that have been prebuilt, tested, and deployed.”

Cooper said that with the click of a button the customer could explore each use case and its structure and set up a demonstration (complete with synthetic data if needed) and then utilise an automated agent to deploy the proof-of-concept into their tenancy.

“The AI factory enables them to go out and have conversations with customers today and have the confidence in knowing that all of the questions and all of the information customers are looking for is inside the platform,” Cooper said.

According to Daniel Janicki, the Microsoft Azure practice lead at Dicker Data, the partnership with UnifyCloud is an important tool for enabling Microsoft partners to bring AI services to their customers quickly.

“Dicker Data is supporting our partners by enabling them to use the platform, both from a sales and a technical point of view, so that they can take those customers through that sales journey,” Janicki said. “And then it's about creating that solution to take to market and making sure that that go-to-market messaging is the right fit for the customer base.”
