Deon Isaacs is channel manager and Steve Maunsell is technical manager. Both joined Wavelink’s Melbourne head office on December 1.
“Over our 10 years in business, job roles at Wavelink have typically evolved in line with the company’s own growth, which has led to personal development opportunities for employees,” said Ilan Rubin director Wavelink.
“The core of our team has been with us for five to eight plus years, which delivers tremendous stability and core expertise to our organisation.
“To achieve our growth targets for 2009 and beyond, our business plan includes expanding our team. The next phase will involve hiring an additional channel manager for our Sydney office early in the New Year,” he added.
Isaacs will support existing channel partners and be looking for new ones.
He has experience in indirect channels and distribution covering a range of solutions including IP telephony, telecommunications services and peripherals and software.
Isaacs previously worked for Anixter as regional enterprise account manager. He also spent time at Siemens and Polaris Communications.
Maunsell will be expanding Wavelink’s technical base and providing pre-sales support to the sales team.
Maunsell’s product knowledge covers VoIP, DECT, Wi-Fi networking and PBXs. He has more than 12 years industry experience, with his previous role as technical services manager and pre-sales engineer at Australian Communications Consortium. Prior to that, he was at Tadiran UK, Fujitsu Australia and Cogent New Zealand.
Wavelink’s recently expanded its product range to include Polycom IP phones and audio conferencing solutions, Digium Switchvox IP PBXs and Meru networks WLAN infrastructure.
