Telstra has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with voice self-service software vendor VeCommerce, to jointly develop and support speech-enabled self service and automation opportunities across Australia.
Under of the MOU VeCommerce will provide Telstra’s contact centre with an end to end solutions.
Director of the Telstra contact centre and collaboration solutions group, Agnes Sheehan, said Telstra has formed this relationship with VeCommerce because of its local and overseas experience in delivering speech-enabled self service and automation applications.
"We are seeing an increased uptake of self service and automation as enterprises strive to improve customer service at reduced cost,” she said.
