"Hyperautomation and intelligent automation" vendor Roboyo has appointed Ignasi Peiris as its new automation engineering manager for Australia.

Peiris, who joined Roboyo in 2019, was awarded UiPath Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in 2023 for his "outstanding contributions, innovation, and evangelism within the automation community". He has the UiPath Certified Professional Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) Certification and the UiPath Certified Automation Business Analyst (UiABA).

His new role is focused on upskilling the local automation practice, driving best practices and "enhancing Roboyo’s proven approach in delivering quality, value and innovation to local businesses".

He will work with the local UiPath community and peers in the US and Europe to "enhance collaboration and share best practices." He will also leverage technology from other partners such as conversational AI provider DRUID.

"We are committed to driving the adoption of intelligent automation in Australia and across Asia Pacific, in partnership with UiPath," Roboyo Australia chief business officer Dan Cooke said.

"Ignasi's appointment further strengthens our capabilities as a major UiPath technology evangelist and enabler in the region. The synergy between Roboyo's strategic approach and UiPath's powerful automation tools means that local businesses can achieve significant operational improvements and better overall outcomes."

Roboyo Australia has recorded double-digit revenue growth in the last year, following the acquisition of low-code app services provider Procensol in 2022.  Roboyo has more than 300 robotic process automation (RPA) professionals worldwide.

"Hyperautomation is a true game-changer, as evidenced by the successful implementations we've achieved for large organisations in Europe and the US. We have seen businesses across different sectors drive efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate both employee and customer satisfaction," Peiris said.
