A gala dinner during the three-day Hitachi Partner Conference in Cairns, Queensland, was the setting for an awards night to recognise Hitachi partners for their successes in the past 12 months.
The eight award winners included Alphawest Services for Outstanding Partner of the Year, CSC Australia for Business Solution of the Year and Dataflex for Most Outstanding Achievement. Platinum Partner of the Year went to Alphawest Services and Corpnet took home the prestigious Gold Partner of the Year award.
“Hitachi’s success lies clearly with the growth of our channel partner community,” said Kerstin Baxter, channel director, Australia and New Zealand. “We are thrilled with the commitment that our partners have shown to Hitachi and this is reflected in the partner initiatives and their outstanding results of the past 12 months.”
The event also provided a networking opportunity for partners as they mingled with key international executives including Lewis Winning, vice president of worldwide sales operations and Peter Smails, senior director of global product marketing and the A/NZ management team.
25 partners from across Australia and New Zealand attended the conference, which officered interactive sessions designed to keep Hitachi’s partner community in the loop regarding the vendor’s vision, direction and channel strategy.
