Trying to decide on the best provider for your company’s mobile phones? Optus has launched a new initiative with the popular business search engine TrueLocal that may sway you in its direction.
New and re-contracting small/medium business customers that sign up for an eligible plan get a bonus 12-month advertising package with TrueLocal, and this includes a truelocal.com.au business listing and a dedicated webpage.
Phil Offer, Optus’ marketing director for small and medium business, said that the new deal was designed to help companies promote their business in a cost-effective manner.
“Our partnership with TrueLocal.com.au enables our SMB customers to take their business online to reach new customers easily and effectively, without putting a strain on limited marketing budgets.”
TrueLocal’s chief executive office, John Allen, added “TrueLocal.com.au helps small business owners develop a strong online presence and connect with the right customers in their area”.
The offer is open until the end of the year, with two packages available: the TrueLocal Basic Advertising package (valued at $33 a month); and the TrueLocal Priority Advertising package (valued at $88 a month).
For the Basic package, you’ll need to sign up or recontract to an eligible rate plan (see a full list here), while the Piority package requires that you sign up or recontract to an eligible rate plan plus six or more services (examples of services include insurance, extended warranty and business international packs).
The Priority package offers higher placement in the search results, as well as a few extra features over the Basic package like a web link in the search results and more images on the business details page.
