According to the regional director for South East Asia, Graham Wheeler the company had a 180 percent increase in sales over the past 12 months and claims this is above the average industry growth rate of 48 percent.
He said MOBOTIX plans to continue its success for the coming year through further product innovation
The company currently has 50 certified partners in Australia.
“Having high-end product and highly-skilled partners has certainly contributed to this,” said Wheeler.
“We will increase our installer base through a few initiatives to be announced later this year. To start with, we have dropped the cost of our training down to $190 per two day course,” he added.
The company opened its second Australian office, in Pyrmont, NSW this week. It’s first is in Perth, WA.
The new office has hired two new members of staff, in addition to three in its Perth office, to cater for the channel growth. It also has a demonstration room and presentation facility.
MOBOTIX won the Frost & Sullivan 2008 European Video Surveillance Product Innovation Award in May, given to a company that best demonstrates the ability to develop and advance its products with more innovative capabilities than competing products in the same category.
