Managed services provider Meridian IT has raised more than $7000 for not-for-profit disability services groups Woodville Alliance and The Junction Works at its first charity auction.
In addition, Meridian IT donated an interactive white board to Woodville. Meridian IT account executive Matthew Powell also purchased and donated another interactive white board to Junction Works.
The auction was attended by more than 80 bidders from Meridian IT’s customers, distributors and vendor partners, including Lenovo, Westcon and News Limited.
“Over the past year Meridian IT has provided innovative, solution-focused and responsive IT support to assist us in the achievement of our business mission,” said Woodville manager systems Christine Drimal.
“Meridian IT has made our business needs their priority. It’s a true partnership, further demonstrated by the charity auction and the benefits the donation will deliver to the communities we serve.”
Woodsville Alliance provides support tools and funding to disability services, community initiatives and early childhood learning education.
The Junction Works also provides support for disability, community and youth support programs in South West Sydney.
Both organisations are customers of Meridian IT, who provided with discounted managed services and free workshops.
