Unified communications-as-a-service provider Access4 is looking to expand further into Australia and New Zealand with new investments in its partner program, training and development.
The company completed series A and series B capital raising in the past 12 months, raising more than $4.7 million to fund growth plans over the next two to three years.
The funds will be used to increase capacity for further growth in Australia and New Zealand over the next 18 months, as well as expansion into Asia by 2020.
“The capital raise puts Access4 in a really strong position. By investing in our channel program and training we can ensure partners are able to take advantage of a ‘once in a generation’ cloud shift for telephony,” Access4 sales and marketing director Ruy Franco said.
“All of this will be backed by ongoing development in our proprietary provisioning system, SASBOSS, to ensure that we deliver a seamless consumption experience for both our partners and the end customers of BroadSoft (Cisco) based services.”
The funds will be spent on increasing sales and marketing resources to support partners, ongoing improvements to the channel program, increased investment in training and development for partners, and investment in technology focusing on seamless delivery of services over the internet.
Franco added that the enablement programs can support the training of system integrators that need a voice solution but have limited telephony experience.
“Also, the additional funding gives us the breathing space to grow the company more freely, while creating a sustainable long-term business,” Franco said.
“By the end of 2019, we will consider where the most logical international markets are to begin our expansion. Globally there is a high penetration of BroadSoft solutions at the service provider level except in some parts of Asia. We think there is a huge opportunity to significantly expand into this area.”
