LogMeIn has introduced Cubby Enterprise, a business version of its cloud file sync and share product.
Cubby features a simple interface that allows users to make any existing folder a ‘cubby’. This allows files anywhere from virtually any device with native iOS, Android, Windows and Mac apps, as well as access from any browser.
Cubby Enterprise includes 1TB of cloud storage for every 5 users. Additional space can be purchased as required. Cubby Enterprise yearly subscriptions start at USD$39.99 a month per groups of five users, prepaid annually.
Files that are stored in Cubby can be shared with others by inviting them into a cubby or through read-only links to files and cubbies. This option allows quick sharing even with people who don’t have a Cubby account.
IT administrators can set up single sign-on via Active Directory and there's also domain-based administration. Cubby can be remotely installed on employee computers.
There's also support for remote device wipe including stored passwords and locally synced content from employee devices. Administrators can enforce user policies to control how data is stored and shared, including the ability to constrain sharing within a corporate domain.
Activity can be monitored in real-time to know what content is being shared, how and with whom. This can be filtered for easy monitoring by employee, event type or date.
