Kaseya has said that managed service providers will benefit from the launch of "the world’s fastest remote client management".
The upgrade comes as part of version 7.0 of the Kaseya product portfolio, which also offers integrated network monitoring from a single screen, simplified management and administration of Microsoft SharePoint Online and enhanced MDM and mobile device application support.
Other features include "intuitive dashboards" and seamless integration with the latest Intuit QuickBooks.
One Kaseya partner, Louise Tomkins of western Sydney-based 2x2, was "very excited" about the enhanced remote control feature.
"I manage IT for about 30 small businesses across Western Sydney, which includes management of about 300 endpoints.
"My business model is very 'break-fix' so to be able to rapidly access a network at anytime, without disrupting the client, makes my life much easier. The added cloud feature will also be very useful, as a small business, I won’t need to heavily invest in expensive hardware," added Tomkins.
Darryl Roberts, IT manager of White Retail Group, which provides shared IT support for Terry White Chemists, said: "Being able to actually see what’s going on in the network across multiple devices is a really positive step.
"We manage IT for 20 Terry White Chemists as well as medical centres from Rockhampton to Melbourne, which total about 700 endpoints. There’s only two of us that make up the IT team, so instantaneous access to an end-user’s network and full visibility across the various sites and their systems is going to be a significant efficiency saving for us."
