BOOM Recruitment System has introduced BOOM, a tool to help recruiters hear job applicants. Recruiters can request applicants to telephone and record answers to specific questions which the recruiter can listen over the internet.
Applications are sent to a Boom Recruitment email address and then they leave a voice message via Boom's automated system.
BOOM co-founder, Heath Kilgour said recruiters wasted a lot of time on sifting job applicants, particularly for call centre, customer services, sales, retail and other office roles.
“BOOM could eliminate the need for telephone interviews which has provided further time savings,” he said.
“It helps recruiters identify candidates’ language skills, manners, attitude, enthusiasm, confidence, and professionalism. These are important work place traits that can be determined from a voice recording. ”
BOOM also integrates into existing 3rd party recruitment systems. The patented system, available in Australia, USA, UK and Canada and was founded by, Heath Kilgour and Nathan Isterling.
They also founded Footytips.com.au in 1999 and are also responsible for RippleDirect - an email marketing operation, and ExtraCorp - an extranet developer.
