Audio, video, and collaboration solutions company Jabra is looking to scale up in 2025 by tapping into some “well-known retailers” in ANZ.
Jabra’s MD for ANZ, David Piggott, told techpartner.news in March that those retailers will open the doors to users who are typically not aware of professional audio devices.
“They will offer us the capability to scale in the consumer, prosumer and SMB market,” he said.
Jabra’s business solutions products range from headsets and speakerphones through to both personal and conference cameras, as well as proprietary software and apps.
With “a large number” of organisations already able to locally buy Jabra products through distributors like Anixter, Dicker Data and Ingram Micro, as well as partners like Fredon, Winc and ANI, Piggott said the company is now looking to consolidate its network so there's fewer, but larger, partners.
New videoconferencing product has arrived
Peter Karlstromer, CEO of Jabra’s parent company GN Group, said that as most new offices “tend to be more technology-rich” with video in most meeting rooms, he’s seeing a “willingness from the market to invest in collaboration technologies”.
Jabra is hoping that that investment extends to its new PanaCast 40 VBS product, a recently released video conferencing solution designed for small spaces.
With the same features as the company's larger PanaCast 50 VBS product, but now in a compact design and with a smaller price tag, it offers 180° field of view and can be used with Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
