According to Laurie Newman, managing director, Informatica Australia and New Zealand, INFORM was also designed to make it easier for organisations to collaborate with Informatica in enterprise data interaction.
“The INFORM program builds on Informatica’s long-standing Alliance Program and introduces new formalised engagement models, a new tiered structure offering a variety of ways to work with Informatica, and a new partner portal called beINFORMed for around-the-clock access to enablement, demo and evaluation, lead management, and informational assets,” said Newman.
According to Newman, in the process of designing INFORM, it surveyed key partners, globally and regionally and listened carefully to what they said and have created a program aligned precisely to their needs.
"We have now made it easier to be an effective Informatica partner, and easier for partners to step up their commitments, obtain commensurate benefits and deliver even more value to customers,” he said.
The program’s three partnership tiers — Foundation, Elite and Global — provide mounting levels of benefits to partners, corresponding to their level of commitment to Informatica. Integral to the new program are new alliance management resources and an all-new alliance management structure aimed at driving closer, more efficient and more productive collaborations.
“Informatica in Australia has a wide variety of alliance partners, from local operations of global ISVs, platform providers and Systems Integrators (SI) to Australian-owned and operated SIs. Partners now have equal access to all content through the same beINFORMed partner portal,” said Newman.
