The company has a complex, geographically dispersed supply chain, spanning the United States, China, Australia and New Zealand.
It puts a high focus on product quality but was suffering from demand and supply issues stemming from a lack of visibility into stock levels and an inability to effectively track inventory.
Infor's reporting capabilities will help Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics make more informed decisions on purchasing.
The system will overcome operational issues caused by rapid and continuous growth which has led to an expansion of operations and increased customer demand in A/NZ.
Emanuel Perdis, managing director of Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics Australia, said the company has real growth ambitions and needed an information system that would grow with it.
"The integrated process management and workflow capabilities will allow us to more accurately plan our business processes, whilst streamlining and reducing administration," he said.
"We looked at what was on the market and assessed our options. Infor was the only solution that matched our business needs; an integrated system, modular, easy to deploy, with strong ongoing support."
Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics also suffered from administrative inefficiencies where orders were being taken over the web and then re-keyed into the financial system creating errors and a lag time in order processing.
The Infor system will also streamline the supply chain and order management functions.
"As with any global brand, there is a focus to effectively manage and control purchasing and suppliers overseas," said James Brackenig, vice president & managing director APAC, Infor.
"Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics is a huge brand and another example of how Infor's approach has been championed by the mid market.
"Companies don't want 'big ticket' purchases that cost the earth and take years to implement. They want a solution they can implement now with immediate ROI."
