Data Integration Software vendor Informatica has launched the Informatica On Demand Data Replicator, an on-demand service for cross enterprise data integration.
The product securely replicates the corporate data and data scheme managed in Salesforce.com to an on-premise database without installing any in-house data integration software. The SaaS application will allow data to be held in on-premise software.
Malcolm Pooley, regional sales manager Australia and New Zealand at Informatica said the vendor sells direct to its end-users but solely relies on resellers to provide systems integration and maintain support.
“We don’t compete with our integrators for professional services. There’s real potential for enterprise systems integrators to define the top 200 companies in Australia and go in with either a SaaS model or our traditional product,” he said.
“They can target the market with data quality and data profiling and the potential for doing this is huge. Our current partners are PWC, Bearing Point, Oakten, Analytics 8, Altis, ECI Integrators and we have another eight partners, currently working to service our enterprise customers,” he said.
Pooley said the On Demand Data Replicator in a SaaS model can be scaled down and affordable for medium and some smaller organisations.
"Our local partners are become more mature in this market and there’s a real opportunity to grow our partners in the area of systems integration,” he said.
