CSA Authorised, which will be rolled out in March, makes it easier for existing partners to expand their product portfolios.
It also lets new partners start selling Citrix products immediately with less upfront investment.
This means that Citrix Solution Advisors who are at any level can sell Citrix Delivery Centre products.
"Today's announcement has added a new level to the Citrix program - the authorised level," Nabeel Youakim, VP, APAC Products, Partners and Alliances, Citrix Systems APAC told CRN.
"Before, our silver, gold and platinum partners had to be certified on the new products before they could sell them.
"With the new level, we will allow partners to sell products as they're announced."
"The introduction of CSA Authorised means that the time between a product being announced and a partner being able to sell it is immediate.
"It will mean that partners keep their sales force in the field and be able to sell new products immediately as they become available.
"We're continuing to improve our partner offerings to ensure Citrix is the best business for our partners to invest in."
Prior to achieving certification, partners can earn full margins on Citrix virtualisation and application delivery products.
"Now, I can generate revenue as soon as a new product is released." said Kennith Rindt, director of strategic alliances, for AEC Group a Platinum Citrix Solution Advisor.
To make the certification process easier, Citrix partners can sign up to low cost on-demand courses and virtual labs.
Only partners that complete certification are eligible to participate in Citrix Advisor Rewards, that pays partners up to 15 percent additional margin on qualifying product sales.
Benefits include technical support, on-going lead generation, and enhanced visibility on Citrix.com
