Barracuda has launched a managed vulnerability security service, aimed at helping organisations actively identify, assess, and prioritise vulnerabilities across their networks and cloud infrastructure.
The new service is part of Barracuda's global security operations centre (SOC).
It extends the company's BarracudaONE platform to enable businesses to reduce risk and strengthen their security resilience.
The managed vulnerability service delivers expert-led vulnerability scanning, analysis, and contextual reporting across organisations' technology environments.
"By proactively identifying vulnerabilities, we can better predict the likelihood of an attack, giving both Barracuda and our customers a decisive edge to stop threats before they're exploited and reduce cyber risk," Adam Khan, vice president of global security operations at Barracuda, said.
The service uncovers vulnerabilities across a broad range of hardware and software, including endpoints, servers, Internet of Things devices, firewalls, and other network-connected systems.
Organisations receive detailed reports that include audit summaries and prioritised remediation plans to help them understand their risk exposure clearly.
"Barracuda Managed Vulnerability Security delivers deep visibility into risks across environments – without the burden of managing additional tools or hiring hard to find and retain security operations specialists," Khan said.
Barracuda Managed Vulnerability Security is available to both new and existing customers through the company's global network of resellers and managed service providers.
