Axis is looking to expand its market share in Australia as surveillance and remote monitoring technology continues to shift from analogue to digital video and demand increases for network video and IP-surveillance solutions. The vendor is hoping to expand its stable of Australian partners from 200 to 400 by the end of the year.
Wai King Wong, country manager A/NZ of Axis Communications, said the company will continue its successful channel model.
“Axis itself is partner-based, it’s very partner-centric. We have to assist our partners to grow the market because we don’t go direct, we work only with partners,” he said.
“What we trying to achieve is loyal and dedicated partners who are able to provide Axis solutions whenever there are projects or ongoing requirements.”
The new partner program is built around clear partner engagement and strategic investment in education across the Axis product portfolio. Partners will receive project pricing support, be able to take advantage of enhanced margins and receive unlimited, free technical support.
Approved partners will be able to progress through three tiers and will be rewarded for their investment in Axis sales. New affiliates begin as authorised partners and receive basic marketing and sales training. They can then progress to silver and gold partners and benefit from lead sharing and other support benefits.
