A collaboration between digital studio Grade and content management system provider Storyblok has delivered an uplift of Compass, an Australian elder abuse knowledge hub.
Since the launch of the upgraded platform, Compass has witnessed a 7.5-fold increase in new users and an eightfold surge in session numbers.
The Australian Institute of Family Studies research indicates that elder abuse affects one in six older Australians.
The project involved transitioning Compass to the Amazon Web Services cloud.
Previously, the platform was hampered by user experience challenges.
Grade overhauled the site to prioritise user engagement and ease of navigation.
Key improvements included a mobile-optimised design and deployment of Storyblok’s CMS, which facilitated cost reductions and increased website speed.
"We couldn’t be happier to see the results that Compass is now experiencing as a result of our collaboration," Grade's chief executive Matt Bachle said.
"By leveraging Storyblok, we empowered the Compass team to deliver valuable content and create digital campaigns that raise awareness about elder abuse, directly benefiting elders and the community around them."
"Having recently been made an official Storyblok partner agency, we look forward to working with Storyblok in the future as we continue to provide our clients with quality, human-centred digital experiences.”
"Our efforts have empowered the Compass team to spearhead impactful campaigns and address the pressing issue of elder abuse."
Storyblok's VP of partners Barry D'Arcy said: "We are proud to partner with Grade in empowering Compass to address the critical issue of elder abuse."
"Our CMS enables Compass to efficiently manage content, engage users and raise awareness about this important cause."
"It’s exciting to see the transformation that Compass has achieved."
