Red Hat has announced comprehensive partner ecosystem support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 (RHEL 10), the newest version of its open source operating system distribution that targets larger organisations.
The latest iteration of the operating system is backed by thousands of certified partner solutions spanning artificial intelligence, networking, security and more, providing organisations with the tools to address skills challenges, reduce inconsistencies and accelerate application development, Red Hat said.
RHEL 10 was officially announced at the Red Hat Summit and AnsibleFest 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts.
RHEL 10 extends its availability across all major public cloud platforms, building on collaborations with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure to deliver optimised cloud offerings tailored to specific hyperscaler environments.
An addition to the platform is the introduction of fully-supported image mode, which provides independent software vendors, hardware vendors and original equipment manufacturers with a container-native pathway to rapidly build, deploy and manage the operating system.
This streamlined approach aims to enable partners to accelerate their time-to-market and reduce development costs for solutions across on-premises, hybrid cloud and edge environments.
To simplify partner support for the new platform, Red Hat has introduced partner-validated products in the Red Hat Ecosystem Catalog.
These products are tested based on a partner's own criteria and methodology to verify compatibility with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.
“Red Hat Enterprise Linux remains the backbone of hybrid cloud innovation, and our growing partner ecosystem continues to be the catalyst for maximising the power of Linux across on-premises, cloud and edge environments," Stefanie Chiras, senior vice president of Red Hat's partner ecosystem success said.”
Red Hat listed processor maker AMD as an ecosystem partner, along with Cisco, HPE, IBM, Intel, Lenovo, Nvidia, Panasonic, and chip designer SiFive.
