Victoria Police has selected Sydney-headquartered RecordPoint as its data and records management, compliance and governance platform.
RecordPoint was awarded the seven-year, $7.2 million contract after an extensive tender process that included an expansive market review.
Once implemented, the platform will manage all the key data systems across Victoria Police's over 23,000 staff.
Victoria Police’s selection of the RecordPoint platform is "a testament to the deep suite of data connectors and cyber capabilities of the RecordPoint data trust platform," the company said.
RecordPoint said the contract with Victoria Police represents the continuation of its key strategic partnerships with Australian government.
Its public sector customers included the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Digital Transformation Agency, National Disability Insurance Agency, Transport for NSW, Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet, Department of Education Victoria and others.
In 2021, the Digital Transformation Agency deployed RecordPoint's platform to modernise its digital records.
