Everyone else already knows and has been madly looking up every address they can ever remember living at, followed by the addresses of family, friends, ex-lovers and then the company address book followed by the white pages. It’s just too groovy to ignore godammit.
Of course, celebrity addresses are also on the “must see” list. Did you know that Steve Jobs parks his car on the street and parks it on the wrong side of the road? He really does Think Different after all.
Although why it’s not in the ample garage is a question worth posing, and why his rather posh street has hardly any tar left on the road is yet another quandary. Kevin Rudd’s shack, aka The Lodge in Canberra is no fun at all – nothing to see except a white cement rendered wall.
Street Spotting has taken over offices across the country as people search for anything familiar in the snaps taken by Google’s marauding photography car – which by the way was easy to spot since it had roof racks with a zillion cameras attached.
We’d bet less work got done in the last couple of days than on Melbourne Cup day after lunch – outside Melbourne of course. Let’s hope the boss hasn’t found your house on Street View. And let’s hope they don’t make this thing real time.
