Legrand has acquired Computer Room Solutions (CRS), to strengthen its position in the data centre infrastructure market.
The buy marks Legrand's fourth local acquisition in Australia and New Zealand within 18 months.
The global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructure announced the deal yesterday, adding CRS's white space offerings to its growing data centre portfolio.
With nearly two decades of operation in data centre infrastructure design, development and commissioning, CRS reported sales close to A$50 million in its financal 2024 year..
CRS provides a range of solutions for data centre white space including structural ceilings, hot and cold aisle containment, mech walls, security caging, and server racks and cabinets.
The acquisition expands Legrand's strategic focus on the data centre vertical, which now represents 20 per cent of the group's revenue.

Headquartered in Mascot, Sydney with manufacturing facilities in Melbourne, CRS employs a team of close to 80 people and brings significant local manufacturing capabilities to Legrand's operations.
This local presence provides efficiencies for customers across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and India, with faster turnaround times for regional solutions.
The deal follows Legrand's previous acquisitions in the ANZ region, including Mechanical Support Systems (MSS), VASS, and Australian Plastic Profiles, with the latter being Legrand's largest ANZ investment since acquiring HPM in 2007.
Legrand ANZ now employs close to 750 people across five local manufacturing facilities, one research and development centre, and 12 warehouses.
