Projector vendor InFocus plans to expand its commercial presence across Australia and New Zealand.
Sean Tobin, regional sales manager for Australia and New Zealand at InFocus, told CRN the vendor is making it known that the firm is making an investment into the A/NZ region.
“We are aiming to position InFocus as a projector specialist, rather than a vendors who can also provide projectors. We see an opportunity to grow in the commercial sector in A/NZ, as we have always been strong in the home market,” he said.
Tobin said InFocus has a distribution model which gives focus to its resellers across Australia and New Zealand.
"As high-end projection technology becomes more affordable this opens a new segment for sales into institutes and learning facilities as well as revisiting some of the current corporate boardroom installations with new products,” added Tobin.
Joe O'Sullivan, senior vice-president and general manager for InFocus Asia Pacific, said: "With the additional resources we have committed to Australia and New Zealand and the strong team we now have in place, we will continue to educate and grow the market here."
O'Sullivan added the vendor’s focus is on delivering the industry's best big picture experience while supporting its local channel partners, resellers and customers.
