Rodney Thorne has been appointed as Fujifilm Business Innovation Australia's new general manager of channels.
A channel veteran with over 20 years’ experience, Thorne joins Fujifilm after an almost four-year stint at Check Point Software Technologies, where he was head of routes to market for MSSP, distribution and SMBs across Asia Pacific and Japan.
At Fujifilm, Thorne will "lead the growth of the business through indirect partnerships and key alliances across the country," the company said.

Prior to Check Point, Thorne served as director of Asia Pacific channels at Cybereason and spent four years as ANZ channel chief at F5 Networks following an almost nine-year stint as GM of ANZ enterprise channels at Motorola.
