Dubbed, Channel 1st, the vendor claims it will simplify the process for claiming rebates; provide resellers with better visibility on how they are achieving their sales; rebate targets with more comprehensive reports; and reward resellers for carrying out value-added activities to drive sales.
In an interview with CRN, Tom Lewis, marketing manager of Fuji Xerox Printers A/NZ said the vendor decided to revitalise its channel program to make it more accessible to channel partners.
“We've made it easier for resellers to join the program, meet their targets and gain greater rewards for promoting a complete Fuji Xerox printing system,” he said.
According to Lewis, Fuji Xerox currently has 120 resellers and it is looking to build a reseller base of about 200 with Channel 1st.
“While we are looking to increase the number of resellers to capitalise on opportunities available in the market, we remain focused on getting resellers who are focused on representing the brand well in the industry.
“We have already started the process with existing resellers and our Business Development Managers are currently presenting the Channel 1st program to prospective resellers.”
Lewis claimed the program was built to provide recurring revenue opportunities to resellers.
“Resellers who market our Managed Print Solution program will receive commissions from customers simply by the number of pages they print,” he said.
Lewis claimed channel partners can make around rebates of two-five percent, depending on their program level.
Currently the vendor works Synnex, Alloys International, Ingram Micro and J Mills (South Australia) and BMS (West Australia).
The vendor is also looking to expand its sales force to facilitate our expanded partner program.
“We are looking to add three Business Development Manager roles to work with our resellers in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales and we are definitely on the lookout for qualified individuals who want to be part of our team,” he said.
