David Perks, GM business solutions at Brennan told CRN that it will boost its mobility service offerings and strengthen its mobility team in anticipation of a mid-market push.
According to Perks mobile data, costs are falling and Australian mobile coverage is more extensive than ever before.
“Mobile handsets and PDAs, like the iPhone and Blackberry, are being used in everyday life,” he claimed.
“The platform for these products has matured and can now be considered a real-time business tool.”
He claimed that offering managed services around mobile solutions was similar to managing a customer’s desktop.
“Email is now driving mobile application expectations. End-users want messaging for real business functionality.”
“Customers are still worried about security, privacy and the integrity of information being downloaded.”
He claimed Brennan was one of only a handful of mobility developers catering to mid-sized businesses.
“Businesses deploying mobile applications could expect a wide range of performance benefits and opportunities for service improvement often with fast ROIs,” said Perks.
