Australian managed services provider, BlueFire, has signed up to use Kaseya’s IT automation software management product. Kaseya’s managed services offering is an integrated IT automation framework specifically designed to assist managed service providers.
Jason Serda, managing director and CIO of BlueFire, said the deployment of the MSP solution will provide its administrators with a single management tool to monitor, maintain, secure and back up its customers’ systems.
“It provides the framework for the company’s transformation to a more economical MSP business model. We can now grow our customer base and services portfolio with a more efficient service delivery model,” he said.
Serda claimed BlueFire will now be able to manage its client's infrastructure, network components and servers remotely, comprehensively and transparently.
BlueFire has also purchased several Kaseya add-on modules to provide its clients with an extended range of services and solutions. These modules include back-up and disaster recovery, end-point security and the recently released user-state management product. BlueFire has also opted for Kaseya’s consulting and installation services.
“Kaseya’s solutions will also help BlueFire to track and answer their customer issues and requests automatically through the integrated help desk function and to provide comprehensive reports to its clients,” he said.
According to Serda, BlueFire’s IT infrastructure management will be further enhanced and extended with the incorporation of reactive anti-virus and spyware detection. He added that BlueFire’s clients will also benefit from real-time automated disk backup, disk imaging, file level backup and bare-metal restore for Windows servers and workstations.
Tim Dickinson, Australian New Zealand country manager for Kaseya, said BlueFire now has the tools it needs to ensure its IT services support its business.
