Acer Computer Australia has launched eAcademy, a free online training program, to help channel partners develop product knowledge in sales and technical repairs.
Courses inside the online system are broken down into six categories: product sales and technical training for client computing, product sales and technical training for enterprise solutions, selling tools and business essentials.
"Acer eAcademy is designed to keep our channel partners and their teams up to date with the latest product and technical information in real time - meaning no longer do partners have to wait for organised face-to-face workshops which can be costly and hard to schedule due to people's hectic work lives," Des Paroz, Acer's eBusiness director, said in a statement.
He added that by consolidating all product and technical information in one central area, channel partners and their teams are able to review the courses at anytime and at any point of the product's selling life cycle.
