On-demand software provider St. Bernard Software is on the hunt for resellers to boost its recently launched A/NZ operation.
The security vendor provides Internet and email filtering appliances, patch management and data backup. In November last year St. Bernard launched its first Australian office in Sydney.
Rob Harkness, international sales manager for Oceania at St. Bernard Software, told CRN the firm is working with its channel to raise end-user awareness of the vendor’s offerings.
“These are still early days for us in Australia and we want to cover the market with focused resellers. We want to grow across the region in the on-demand services area.”
Harkness said St. Bernard’s product set can be provided to the channel as a St. Bernard branded product or as an OEM solution where any partner who feels they have the demand can supply the product under their own brand.
“Potential partners will need to understand end-user issues round Spam and its threats and likewise with Web browsing and the problems that can be created in an organisation,” added Harkness.
“For resellers this is a market which is growing and there is not a great investment in hardware needed. We will also be providing lead generation.”
